Terms

Terms that set clear expectations without overstating what CureMath does.

Effective April 19, 2026. These terms are written as first-pass product-facing terms for CureMath.

This is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before a public paid launch.

1. Using CureMath

These Terms govern your use of the CureMath website, dashboard, and related services.

By using CureMath, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

If you use CureMath for a child or learner, you confirm that you are allowed to do so and that you are responsible for that use where required by law.

2. What CureMath is and is not

CureMath is an educational support tool. It helps users understand maths problems, review likely mistakes, and generate follow-up practice.

CureMath is not accredited tuition, formal school assessment, exam invigilation, therapy, medical treatment, medical advice, or any health-related service.

The name CureMath refers to helping with maths understanding only. It does not mean CureMath makes medical claims, guarantees learning outcomes, or promises that a user's difficulties will be cured.

3. Accounts and account security

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password confidential.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account unless the law says otherwise.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. User-generated content

Users may submit typed maths problems, uploaded homework images, answers, working, and other content needed for the service to operate.

You keep rights in the material you submit, but you give CureMath the limited rights needed to process that material and operate the service.

You must not submit unlawful, abusive, explicit, deceptive, or unrelated personal content.

5. Content moderation and blocked accounts

CureMath may reject uploads containing faces, body parts, explicit content, or other unsafe material.

We may suspend, restrict, or permanently block accounts involved in fraud, explicit uploads, safety risks, abusive behavior, or other serious breaches of these Terms.

We may preserve limited moderation records where needed to investigate abuse, enforce rules, or comply with legal obligations.

6. AI and educational limitations

CureMath may use AI systems to generate explanations, diagnoses, and practice questions.

These outputs are intended to support learning, not replace human judgment, a teacher, or an independent check.

CureMath may be wrong, especially when information is incomplete, the image is unclear, or the underlying maths is ambiguous.

7. Subscriptions, trials, and refunds

Paid features, trials, billing cycles, and cancellation options are governed by the pricing shown in the product at the time of purchase.

If CureMath offers a free trial, paid billing should only begin after the stated trial period ends unless clearly disclosed otherwise.

Unless a specific refund offer or money-back guarantee is displayed at checkout, fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

If a third-party payment processor is used, your billing relationship may also be subject to that processor's terms.

8. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

CureMath uses essential cookies for sign-in, security, and core product operation.

If optional analytics or tracking tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, PostHog, or similar pixels are enabled, CureMath should ask for consent before using non-essential cookies where consent is required.

The cookie banner is intended to provide a necessary-only choice so users can opt out of non-essential analytics tracking.

9. Service availability and changes

We may change, improve, pause, or remove parts of CureMath at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent feature access, or that every maths problem can be solved.

10. Disclaimers and limits of liability

CureMath is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent allowed by law, we do not promise that the service will always be accurate, uninterrupted, or suitable for every learning situation.

To the extent permitted by law, CureMath is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the product, including missed homework marks, exam outcomes, tutoring decisions, or learning outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product develops. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply from that point onward.
